The Arturo Toscanini Foundation, musical institution of the Emilia-Romagna Region that acts with the support of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, was established in 1994 on the initiative of the same Region, the Municipality and the Province of Parma and represents the natural evolution of the homonymous Association established in 1975 by the Municipalities and Provinces of Emilia-Romagna and recognized by the State in January 1977.
Today one of the largest and most dynamic Italian musical institutions, active in the field of symphonic production, opera production and the professional training of young people in the arts and crafts of the show, the Foundation bears the name of Arturo Toscanini, honoring his artistic legacy and tradition of executive excellence, and is based in Parma, the birthplace of the great conductor. It presents itself today, after a period of constant productive and artistic growth, with an operational dimension and an organizational structure that allow the realization of an activity constituted every year on average by over 100 symphonic concerts and 40 opera performances.
