About
The Indiana Chapter was founded in 1966 by professionals and patrons representing both Indiana University and the south central Indiana region. Since its founding, the chapter has awarded more than $800,000 to emerging young artists preparing for professional careers. Annual competitions in the arts are judged by active professionals in visual arts, ballet, contemporary dance, drama, literature, instrumental music, voice, and musical theatre. Many Bloomington award winners have gone on to distinguished national and international careers.
Membership: Approximately 100 men and women participate in the chapter’s activities, which include several entertaining and informative programs throughout the year. They are arts professionals or arts advocates interested in furthering the careers of talented young artists.
