Abigail Rowland is a trumpet player based in The Netherlands. Since 2022 she has held a fixed position as tutti trumpet in the North Netherlands Orchestra in Groningen. Abigail also regularly freelances with orchestras and chamber ensembles such as the Netherlands Philharmonic, Dutch National Ballet Orchestra, Nederlands Chamber Orchestra, Netherlands Radio Philharmonic, Rotterdam Philharmonic, and Brussels Philharmonic. 

Abigail spent her childhood and early teen years in Hong Kong, but prior to moving to The Netherlands she spent seven years in the United States; first at the Interlochen Arts Academy and subsequently at the Lynn Conservatory in Florida. She holds a Master's degree in Classical Trumpet from the Royal Conservatoire, The Hague, where she she studied with Erwin ter Bogt and Gertjan Loot.
