Biography

Bridgette Burton

Bridgette C. Burton is a producer, director, arts administrator and dramaturg. She also does a few other
things that speak to her heart so multi-hyphenated can always be used in describing her work. As an artist,
she truly enjoys bringing community and creatives together to create immersive theatre experiences that
include movement of bodies, live instruments and recorded sounds.

She is currently serving as the Artistic Producing Associate for Baltimore Center Stage. Previously she
has worked in various arts administration roles with the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre, The Alliance
Theatre, The UGA Performing Arts Center and Steppenwolf Theatre Company. She has been a member of several arts programs such as the Brioxy Arts Executive Director Pipeline Program, the Black Theatre Girl Magic Inaugural Musical Theatre Anatomy Class of 2020 and the 2021 Kennedy Center Playwright Intensive.

Recent accomplishments include being awarded a grant from Fulton County for their Virtual Arts
Initiative where she co-produced a virtual play series called Interface that employed over 20 local Atlanta
artists, the recipient of the 2020 Atlanta Audio Fringe Award for the Most Listens for her audio play
Poison's Paradise, producer of the Mable House Barnes movie and concert series Movies and Bands:
Drive- In Edition.
