Born in Foggia in 1971, I came to Pisa in 1989 to achieve an MSc in Electronic Engineering.

I stumbled across a bunch of polyphonic choirs with which I learnt a lot before starting opera in 2003, with Puccini's Tosca.In the same year I achieved a degree in solfeggio, music theory and dictation at Musical Institute "Mascagni" in Livorno.

I live in many worlds: working as a software developer, singing, acting, martial arts, sharing all with my beloved wife and son.

As a choir member I sang in Puccini's "Tosca", "Turandot", "Madama Butterfly", "Bohéme"; Verdi's "Traviata", "Trovatore", "Rigoletto": Donizetti's "Elisir d'amore" and "Lucia di Lammermoor"; Leoncavallo's "Pagliacci"; Rossini's "Barbiere di Siviglia", "Cenerentola", "Guglielmo Tell", "Italiana in Algeri", and "Mosè in Egitto": Mozart's "Don Giovanni"; Umberto Giordano's "Andrea Chénier" and others, last being Puccini's "La Rondine".

As a soloist I already played the roles of Alfredo Germont, Giuseppe and Gastone from "Traviata", Nemorino from "Elisir d'amore", Fleville and Fouquier-Tinville from "Andrea Chénier", Ruiz from "Trovatore", Matteo Borsa from "Rigoletto", Fiorello from "Barbiere di Siviglia", Spoletta from "Tosca", Goro and Yamadori from "Madama Butterfly", Parpignol from "Bohéme", Emperor Altoum in "Turandot", Gobin, Adolfo and a student in "La Rondine". I also played the solo tenor in sacred music like Camille Saint-Saens's "Oratoire de Noel", Bach's Kantate BWV 148, Rossini's Petite messe solemnelle and Mozart's Requiem in Dm.

I am currently working on the roles of Pong/Pang from Turandot and Ismaele from Nabucco.
