Biography

Milanka Noveska

Milanka Noveska is a mezzo soprano with a devoted following. She is active both as a soloist, and a member of professional choirs. She is currently studying her second masters studies at the Department of Opera in Stockholm and has been awarded the S:t Johanneslogen S:t Erik scholarship. She has become a member of the Young Artist Program of Camerata Bardi New York, and she will perform Mercedes and cover Carmen at the Cultural Center of Crete in May 2023. After her return from Crete she will work in the production of “The Fairy Queen” by Purcell at Drottningholm Slottsteater in Stockholm.

Over the years she has performed in various opera houses, concert stages, and cultural institutions such as: The National Opera House in Bucharest, The Comical Opera House in Bucharest, The Macedonian Opera House, Romanian Atheneum, National Radio House in Bucharest.

Some of the roles she has performed are: Carmen and Mercedes in Carmen by G.Bizet; Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro by W.A.Mozart, Mazet in La Colombe by C.Gounod; Child 2 and Lady 2 in The Magic Flute by W.A.Mozart; Tisbe in La Cenerentola by G.Rossini; Nun in The sound of music; Opera choir member in Le Nozze di Figaro, The cat in boots by C.Trăilescu.

She completed her music high-school studies in Skopje, North Macedonia and received a full scholarship from The Ministry of National Education in Romania to continue her studies in Romania. In Bucharest Romania she developed her knowledge at the Bachelor and Master of lyrical singing and a Bachelor and Master of singing pedagogy.
