Biography

Rodolfo Mireles-Manzano

Rodolfo Mireles-Manzano, a native of South Texas, is a graduate of the University of North Texas where he holds a Batchelor of Music Education with a concentration in clarinet. At the University of North Texas, he studied with Dr. Phillip Paglialonga and Greg Raden. Other teachers and mentors include Calvin Falwell and Rob Patterson.

 

An avid performer, Rodolfo is currently serving as the Second Clarinetist for the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra in McKinney, Texas and has also appeared with the Allen Philharmonic Orchestra and Texarkana Symphony Orchestra. He is also an active chamber musician having recently performed the Weber Clarinet Quintet with members of the McKinney Philharmonic and Samuel Barber’s Summer Music at the Madeline Island Chamber Music Festival. During his time at the University of North Texas, he performed with the North Texas Wind Symphony, Concert Orchestra, and Opera Orchestra. Additionally, he can also be heard on recordings with the North Texas Wind Ensemble, Wind Orchestra, and on the upcoming recording project soon to be released by the North Texas Wind Symphony. 

 

A passionate teacher, Rodolfo serves as a private clarinet teacher in the Dallas/Fort Worth area as well as a marching band technician. He is certified to teach music K – 12 in the state of Texas and received the TMEA Collegiate Music Educator Award upon graduation.
