Description
UNT Opera presents The Tender Land by Aaron Copland. It is a story about a young farm girl named Laurie in the American Midwest during the Great Depression. She wants to find freedom and make her own choices. The opera also tells about her family and two migrant workers. It is a coming-of-age story about love, family, and growing up.
