Amber “Deni” Harling, originally from Detroit, Michigan, began her musical journey at the age of five. Her talent and dedication led her to participate in notable opera productions such as Die Fledermaus as Rosalinde von Eisenstein, Amahl and the Night Visitors as The Mother, Orpheus in the Underworld as Eurydice, and more. In 2014, she earned her bachelor’s degrees in music education and mass communications, and in 2020, she obtained a master’s degree in vocal performance from the University of West Georgia. Deni serves as the chorus director of the Carrollton Young Singers and Carrollton Youth Chorus, a private voice instructor at the Carrollton Center for the Arts (CCA) and Pippin Music Academy, and leads her own group, Deni Phoenix and The Fervor.

Deni's artistic capabilities expand beyond her vocal talents. In 2020, she made her theatre directorial debut at CCA with 101 Dalmatians Kids, showcasing her leadership skills and creative vision. Following this success, she directed another production, The Adventures of Doctor Dolittle in 2021 and music directed, The Lightning Thief in 2023.  She is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota – International Music Fraternity for Women, Tau Beta Sigma – National Honorary Band Sorority, Inc., and Alpha Psi Omega – National Honorary Theatre Society.
