A native of the Komi Republic, Russia, Mr. Lavrov studied voice at the Republican Art College, Syktyvkar and the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. He is also a graduate of two prestigious young artists programs - the YAP of the Bolshoi Theatre, Russia and the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program of the Metropolitan Opera.
