Biography

Anastasia Sullivan

Anastasia Sullivan (she/her) is a young mezzo-soprano with a desire to bring the beauty of music to important moments in people’s lives. An undergraduate studying Vocal Performance at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, she is also studying Law and Public Policy through the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at IU. She has spent the Covid-period prioritizing development of her classical repertoire with her teacher, Wolfgang Brendel, but has plenty of solo and choral performance experience as well. As a singer with the Indianapolis Children’s Choir for nine years, Anastasia sang under leading conductors including Henry Leck, Ruth Dwyer, and Joshua Pedde. Anastasia has experience performing a cappella as a member of the Signature Sound vocal jazz choir at her high school for two years. As for solo work, Anastasia has sung as weddings, funerals, and every year at her high school’s American Pie Rock History concerts. Anastasia has her Junior Recital coming up this April 9th, where she will perform a variety of different genres to which she is greatly looking forward.
