Brooke began singing around 5 years old and declared that her first performance would be her first grade talent show. She sang "My Heart Will Go On" from the movie Titanic (so cute, right?!). She's been performing ever since.
In her undergraduate studies, Brooke majored in Accounting, minored in Musical Theatre (but was always mistaken for a theater major due to her extreme involvement), and minored in Italian where she got to fulfill a lifelong dream of travelling to Italy (for a semester abroad in Florence).
In her graduate studies, Brooke soaked up every acting technique and tool possible during her time at the University of Georgia where she obtained her MFA in Acting while teaching acting courses to the undergrads.
Comedy is a passion of hers, and she's convinced that writing and performing her own comedy show is more terrifying (in the best of ways) and rewarding than all other forms of theatre combined! She has been touring her original, full-length, one-woman cabaret-comedy show How to be an Ethical Slut around the US. She recently won "Best of Fest" at the Hartford Fringe, "Philly Fringie" (audience choice) at the Philly Fringe, and "Spirit of the Fringe" at St. Louis Fringe.
