Daniel Isengart, born and raised in Germany and France and living in the US since 1993, is a seasoned performer of the cabaret and concert stage who, after 20 years of work as a soloist, decided to devote himself to teach classically trained singers what they usually have to painstakingly learn through experience: how to create a physical aura onstage that is on the same artistic level as their singing. In New York City, Daniel Isengart's one man shows have been featured at Joe’s Pub, Café Sabarsky, the BAMCafé, The Bowery Poetry Club, Duane Park, Deutsches Haus, the Museum Mile Festival, and, regionally, SF MoMA, the Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art, the Philadelphia Museum, and the Playboy Casino in Cancun, Mexico. He has had guest appearances with the concert:nova ensemble in Cincinnati and the Sun Valley Music Festival, and has directed two semi-staged opera productions with the KW Symphony, Ontario.
