Biography

Gavin Boudreau

A nationally recognized musician, Gavin boasts an extensive performance and educational background as a clarinetist and oboist. He has held positions in the Connecticut Youth Symphony and New York Youth Symphony, with which he performed in Carnegie Hall. Additionally, Gavin was accepted to and subsequently performed with the National Association for Music Education All-National Honors Concert Band in 2022. Other musical positions include Principal Clarinet of the Choate Rosemary Hall Symphony Orchestra, Connecticut Music Educators Association All-State Honors Orchestra, and Connecticut Southern Regional Honors Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he has enjoyed performing with the Choate Rosemary Hall Advanced Chamber Orchestra, Boston University Tanglewood Institute Woodwind Quintet Workshop, and New England Music Camp Advanced Chamber Music Program. He recently gained acceptance to Northwestern University's Dual Degree Program with the Bienen School of Music and Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, where he will study under Professor Stephen Williamson (Principal Clarinet of Chicago Symphony Orchestra) and Professor Todd Levy (Principal Clarinet of Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra) while simultaneously pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences.
