(She/Her) Inês Pinto is a Portuguese light-soprano based in Berlin. Born in Porto, Inês Pinto is a Portuguese light-soprano based in Berlin. In the 2021/2022 season, she had the opportunity to sing as a soloist Rutter’s Requiem in the UK, “The Swan of Pesaro” (a European project promoting Rossini’s music) in Portugal, Greece and Italy, and was part of the Berlin Opera Academy 2022.

Biography

Inês Pinto

Born in Porto, Inês Pinto is a Portuguese light-soprano based in Berlin. Working as a freelancer, Inês has the opportunity to work on her own projects as “Mozart Gone High” where she sings the Queen of the Night and many other Mozart characters and a Lied Duo with Bahareh Ahmadi promoting Spanish/Portuguese and Swedish/Norwegian songs. She is currently working with Abbie Furmansky and Marie Vassiliou who is a Professor of the vocal faculties of both the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Royal Academy of Music. She sang a lot of opera roles as Juliet Brook and Sophie Brook (The Little Sweep by B. Britten), Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro by W. A. Mozart), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte by W.A. Mozart), Dido (Dido and Aeneas by H.Purcell), Amore (Orfeo Ed Euridice by C. W. Glück) and Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare by Handel). As a soloist she also sang Gloria by John Rutter (Casa da Música, Porto), Invitation to a Miracle by Joseph Martin (Casa da Música, Porto) and Stabat Mater de Pergolesi (Convento dos Remédios, Évora and Academia de Ciências de Lisboa). In 2019 she was chosen for the "Meesters&Gezellen" project where she had the opportunity to work with four singers of the Helsinki Chamber Choir and his director Nils Schweckendiek. In the 2021/2022 season, she had the opportunity to sing as a soloist Rutter’s Requiem in the UK, “The Swan of Pesaro” (a European project promoting Rossini’s music) in Portugal, Greece and Italy, and was part of the Berlin Opera Academy 2022.
