Pianist Inkyo Hong began her career as an orchestral conductor, taking part in numerous operatic productions as an assistant conductor and rehearsal pianist.
In 2021/2023 she served on the musical coaching staff at the IU Opera and Ballet Theater, and in 2023/2025 she joined as a studio pianist at the Juilliard School, also joining the Artistic team of Juilliard opera.
She participated in masterclasses by Margo Garrett, Graham Johnson, Jean Barr, and Kevin Murphy. Recently, she performed in Liederabends curated by Pierre Vallet and by John Musto, and in Bernstein concert curated by Jamie Bernstein.
Hong earned degrees from Seoul National University and Indiana University, and now she is pursuing her studies at the Juilliard School.
