When I'm not teaching or practicing, you'll probably find my playing tennis or pickleball, rehearsing with my string quartet, working on my two small businesses, or doing yoga!

Kaitlin Booth is a passionate cellist with an innate talent for teaching and performing music. She enjoys working with students of all ages and loves the thrill of understanding when something difficult “clicks” for the first time.
Kaitlin's performance history started at the age of 11 when she first started playing the cello. Her love of the instrument and profound dedication brought her all the way to a university level, where she studied Cello Performance on scholarship at Utah Valley University. She has a strong background in performing classical music and loves the work of great classical composers such as Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms. Kaitlin has performed in venues such as Abravanel Hall, Eccles Concert Hall, and the De Jong Concert Hall, in cities across the United States, Dominican Republic, and Brazil. She is currently attending graduate school at the University of Utah studying Music Performance and Pedagogy.
Today, aside from her cello teaching and gigs, Kaitlin enjoys performing with her string quartet (artivastrings.com), practicing guitar and piano, hiking, eating frozen yogurt, doing yoga, and spending time with her husband.
