Kari Dione is an artist, educator, and entrepreneur from Birmingham, AL. She has been mesmerizing audiences with her powerful yet soulful voice for over 2 decades. Her charismatic Southern charm and bubbly yet down-to-earth personality have afforded her many opportunities on and off the stage. She was last seen as Linda in the Annapolis Opera Company's production of "Lost in the Stars. She was one of the 2021 hosts of Rand Production's Christmas in the Air at Beau Rivage Resort in Biloxi, MS. Her most recent theater credits include Virgils Cafe (The Blue Series), Porgy & Bess, and Jelly’s Last Jam (Hatiloo Thearter; Ostrander winner). In 2019, Kari was a featured performer with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. Dione is a longtime member of the Birmingham-based gospel recording group Rayshun Walker and Thee Ensemble. She is also a founding member of The Good Vibez Only Collective, a musical collaboration infusing r&b soul, hip hop, spoken word, and original music to tell stories that pay homage to an array of musical genres. Kari released her debut single "Do You" last November and is excited about the release of her self-titled album. She holds a bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Alabama State University and is a decorated member of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity.
