My name is Laila Cottman. I am a young dancer from Wilmington, Delaware. I am currently in my senior year of high school and looking to expand my dance knowledge and training to college. I have been training in dance since the age of six and have had extensive performance experiences. I have performed in events like the 6abc Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade, the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade, the Wawa Welcome America Salute to American Independence Parade, the Philadelphia Juneteenth Parade & Festival, and the Philadelphia Holiday Parade. Along with these parades, I have performed for local gatherings and events such as weddings, birthday and graduation parties, honoree ceremonies, and concert recitals. Along with a plethora performances throughout the year, I have weekly training at my studio studying the dance generes ballet, jazz, modern–primarily Horton technique–, acrobatic, tap, HipHop, and pointe. 

I am a hard working, self motivated person that holds a persevering and determined mindset.
