As a theatre director, Maureen Payne-Hahner has directed in London, New York City (off-Broadway), Chicago, Munich, Vienna, and Bangalore, India. Maureen is a founding ensemble member of Chicago’s award-winning The Gift Theatre. Maureen is very keen on collaborating with both emerging and established international playwrights who tackle, with both tremendous skill and dedication, challenging subject matter and powerful concepts. In addition to directing, Maureen leads developmental workshops and directs readings internationally.
