Roslyn Reeves is a coloratura soprano originally from Salt Lake City, UT. She recently earned her master’s degree in Vocal Arts from Temple University and holds a bachelor’s in Vocal Performance from the University of Utah. Recently she completed a recital featuring Barbara Strozzi’s ‘L’astratto’ and Zerbinetta’s aria by Richard Strauss, and covered roles at Temple University Opera productions including La Fee from Massenet’s Cendrillon and Dalina from Handel’s Ariodante.
is known for her impressive virtuosity in classical singing. With a passion for the operatic arts, Roslyn has graced the stage recently with a series of performances showcasing her vocal dexterity.
A highlight among her recent roles includes Atalanta in Handel's Serse with the Utah Vocal Arts Academy. She has also performed roles such as Despina in Mozart’s Così fan tutte and Witch 1 in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and the cover for the soprano soloist in Poulenc’s Gloria.
Roslyn has participated in masterclasses with esteemed artists including Dr. Warren Jones and soprano Susanna Phillips. She was recently awarded 3rd place in the classical category at the regional NATS competition.
In addition to her vocal training, Roslyn has had extensive training in piano and violin, and currently teaches voice, violin, and piano. She is known for her virtuosity in classical singing, passion for the arts, and dependability on stage.
