Serafina Belletini, mezzo-soprano, has been praised for her rich, vibrant tone, as well as her acting prowess. Notable roles include Baba in The Medium with Raylynmor Opera and Bold City Opera; Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Gertrude in Roméo et Juliette, and Sor Rosa in With Blood, With Ink with the Seagle Festival; and Ruth in Dark Sisters, The Witch in Hänsel und Gretel, Genèvieve in Impressions de Pelléas, and Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro with Temple University Opera Theatre. This winter, she completed her second winter season as an Apprentice Artist at Sarasota Opera, where she sang the role of Praskowia in The Merry Widow and covered the role of Ines in Il trovatore. This November, she will sing Ježibaba in Bold City Opera's production of Rusalka, and will make her Nashville Opera debut as Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro in April 2027 as a Mary Ragland Emerging Artist. She completed her academic training at Wayne State University (BM) and Temple University (MM).
