(She/Her) Tracy Waagner, mezzo-soprano, is pursuing a Master of Music in Opera at the University of Maryland, studying with Dr. Theresa Bickham. Waagner received her Bachelor of Music in Voice at the Oberlin Conservatory, under the tutelage of Mathilda Edge. Her roles with Oberlin Opera Theater include Eliza (Omar), Le Prince Charmant (Cendrillon), Florence (Albert Herring), and the Baroness/Alto Chorus (Candide).

As Wig and Hair Designer for Oberlin Opera Theater productions, I collaborated closely with stage directors, costume designers, and performers to create historically and stylistically appropriate hair and wig designs that support character development and storytelling. My responsibilities included wig styling, maintenance, fitting, and quick changes.
