Description
SHE is a musical exploration of the growth of womanhood featuring works exclusively by female identifying composers. This concert is proudly presented and programmed by Hannah Shanefield and Shalun Li in collaboration with the Women's Lunch Place.
All contributions will be split with the Women's Lunch Place. We encourage donations of at least $10 per person.
Women’s Lunch Place inspires hope and supports the development of self-sustaining skills for women experiencing hunger, homelessness, and poverty. They create a safe, welcoming day shelter community in which they respect the dignity of their guests. Please visit womenslunchplace.org to learn more.
The concert's program includes instrumental and vocal chamber works by Clara Schumann, Rebecca Clarke, Jennifer Higdon, Lori Laitman, B.E. Boykin, and Stacy Garrop.
