We are a convivial Club of people who enjoy the arts.
Together we stage hundreds of events per year — concerts, art exhibitions, plays, whisky tastings, literary talks, life-drawing sessions, writing workshops, play readings and stage performances, film showings, poetry readings… Over half of us have a professional connection with the arts; the rest of us are dedicated arts lovers and supporters.
We’re very informal, there is no dress code, and we eat family-style at large tables. Many of our events involve a meal, and the bar is available whenever the Club is open — all this at very reasonable prices. Conversation flows easily and is always wide-ranging and interesting.
Members enjoy the large art and rehearsal studio, two meeting rooms and a comfortable library — and of course, our iconic Great Hall! Our lounge and library make the Club a pleasant place to hang out in the centre of town, at 14 Elm Street, a historic building near Dundas and Yonge.
