Description
Using J.S. Bach's Partita no. 2 for solo violin as the inspiration, these five composers wrote a new partita for viola. Each composer wrote a movement, and structural and pitch elements are taken from Atar Arad's Chaconne, which was the genesis of the project. Concerts and a recording are scheduled for October 2023.
