Description
"Join us for our culminating concert of the year. The evening will feature Antonín Dvorák’s majestic Te Deum, inspired by the 4th-century hymn that begins, “We praise Thee, O God: We acknowledge Thee to be the Lord.” This powerful piece will be brought to life by our Festival Choir, Orchestra, and Soloists. In addition to Dvorák’s masterpiece, the evening also highlights performances by the winners of Bethel’s Concerto/Aria Competition and the Bethel Wind Symphony under the direction of Steven Thompson.
The evening will conclude with Jonathan Veenker’s moving composition Let This Mind Be in You, based on passages from Philippians, Colossians, the Gospel of John, and interwoven with the beloved hymn text, “May the Mind of Christ, My Savior,” performed by the Festival Choir and Orchestra."
