Today the BSO reaches millions of listeners, not only through its concert performances in Boston and at Tanglewood, but also via the internet, radio, television, educational programs, recordings, and tours. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, in the 2020-2021 season the BSO has vastly expanded its online streaming capabilities, offering "Music in Changing Times," five series of programs recorded in Symphony Hall and released online via the orchestra’s new streaming platform, BSO NOW (BSO.org/now). These programs have expanded the BSO’s reach to a potentially worldwide audience. The season has also included Boston Pops and Youth Concerts programs.
