Amadeus Live in Concert – On June 4, 2025 (7 pm), the National Symphony Orchestra, led by Richard Kaufman, joined forces with the Cathedral Choral Society under Music Director Steven Fox at the Kennedy Center. In a sumptuous tribute to the Academy Award–winning film Amadeus, the NSO performed Mozart’s evocative score live to the iconic on‑screen storytelling—complete with the dramatic clash between Salieri and Mozart unfolding in real time. This lush fusion of cinema and symphony brought new depth and emotional resonance to the beloved period epic, thrilling audiences with a fresh, immersive experience.
