With the background of three years of the Center for Musical Studies of Difocur, in 2006 the Sinaloa Higher School of Music was born with recognition of official validity of intermediate studies superior to its 18 careers. Thus, the State Government provides the opportunity for professional development to young people with an inclination towards music, through technical careers in musical instrument execution, choral singing, musical pedagogy and composition. As of 2007, this training offer is strengthened with the creation of the Bachelor of Music that will allow continuing artistic training. Dependent on the Higher School of Music, the Musical Initiation Center serves children and young people with an interest in choral singing or playing a musical instrument, who attend parallel from the second grade of preschool to the third grade of secondary school. The Center has systematized and organized study plans and programs in a gradual and progressive manner.
