"The Last Rose of Summer" is an invitation to such time travel. Also the best way to capture the summer saying goodbye. A meeting place for composers: for Johannes Brahms and Rebecca Clarke, for Hafliði Hallgrímsson, Jórunn Viðar, Jón Leifs, Ottorino Respighi, for Robert Schumann and Orlando di Lasso, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Viktor Ullmann and Franz Schubert. A forum: for musicians from Ireland, Italy, France, Iceland, the USA and Germany. Berlin has them, has brought us all together.

Laoise Kelly, Irish Harp

Das Programm von Laoise Kelly umfasst traditionelle irische Melodien, von ihr arrangiert. Es enthält Jigs, Polkas und Reels sowie Stücke von bekannten irischen Musikern wie Turlough O'Carolan und Tommy Peoples. Zusätzlich hat Kelly eigene Musikstücke wie "Cailín Lus an Chrom Chinn" und traditionelle Stücke wie "Toureendarby Polka", "Lon Dubh" und "Maidrín Ruadh" arrangiert. Das Konzert deckt verschiedene traditionelle irische Musikstile ab.
