Description
LABCO seeks to revive and celebrate Baroque music through authentic, historically-informed performances. The project aims to develop a vibrant Baroque chamber orchestra engaging diverse musicians of various ages and backgrounds. We prioritize musical excellence, community involvement, an d education, creating an accessible platform for learning and appreciation of Baroque music with expressive interpretation and period-informed style. The LABCO Baroque Festival opens with an evening celebrating the beauty, passion, and brilliance of Baroque music.
Featuring masterpieces from the Italian and European tradition, this concert invites audiences into a world of elegance, drama, and artistic splendor.
Music by Vivaldi and Haendel, with Jessica Clayton (soprano), Anna Yeager (soprano), Riccardo Leónida (violin) and Calloway Cieslak (piano).
In collaboration wit the American Italian Cultural Center.
