About Us The Merced Symphony is committed to providing quality orchestral music to the Merced community and our regional neighbors in the Central Valley. In addition to a four concert season with performances at the storied Merced Theatre, we offer our annual Children's Educational Concerts. A long-standing tradition for over three decades, the Children's Educational Concerts are a highlight of our programming. By providing free, interactive, educational concerts to Fourth Grade students across Merced County, we have managed to ignite a love of music for over 58,000 young people since the inception of this exciting program. The Children’s Concert provides our students with an enriching activity, gets them out of the classroom, and allows them to expand their worldview through quality orchestral music.
