Vocal Espoo Festival

VocalEspoo's roots go back to 1992, when the first international choir festival was organized in Espoo. Since then, the festival known as KuoroEspoo has hosted numerous famous singers, vocal groups and choirs every two years. In 2014, the name of the festival was changed to VocalEspoo, which better describes its nature as a versatile vocal music event. Artistic director Taavi Oramo is responsible for planning the 2022 festival program. The production of VocalEspoo is the responsibility of the Espoo music festivals association, which is also produced by the sister festival PianoEspoo, which is organized every other year with VocalEspoo .
