Biography

Brianna Murray

Brianna Murray is praised for having “one of those soprano voices, clear, perfectly-placed, angelic, that could go on all day and I would still want more” (Herald Times). Brianna completed her undergraduate degrees in voice and psychology at Oberlin Conservatory in 2017 and obtained her master’s degree in voice along with a certificate in vocology from Indiana University in 2020. Her performance credits include opera, musical theatre, and concert work. Her operatic highlights include Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Frasquita in Carmen, and Clorinda in La Cenerentola. Brianna sang as a soloist in Harry Potter 8 in concert with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. She also sang the role of Juliet in the new musical Star Cross’d Lovers. Last fall she was seen as Papagena in The Magic Flute sang the role of Adina in L'elisir d'amore in Bloomington Chamber Opera's Spring 2022 production.
