Biography

Bass-baritone Colin Harrison grew up in Savannah, GA and received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Georgia Southern University. He has performed with Servire Chorus since 2019. He has served as a Bass Choral Scholar for the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist since 2020. Colin has served as a public school music educator and taught private music lessons for several years. Colin also enjoys singing in the barbershop quartet music style.

Colin Harrison

Colin Harrison, bass-baritone, grew up in Savannah, GA, and received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Georgia Southern University in nearby Statesboro, GA. He has been actively involved in the music scene of Savannah.

Colin has served as the Bass Choral Scholar at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist since 2020. Week after week, he has been fortunate to collaborate with exceptional musicians, delivering captivating performances of high-quality repertoire. Colin was the featured bass soloist for Handl's Messiah and Mozart's Requiem in D Minor at the Cathedral in 2021.

Aside from his involvement at the Cathedral, Colin has also made significant contributions as a music educator and choral director. He has taught in public schools, sharing his passion for music with students. Additionally, Colin directed the 13th Colony Sound Mixed Barbershop Chorus in Savannah for five years. This community chorus, known for their close four-part acapella harmonies, allowed Colin to indulge in his love for barbershop singing and performing for audiences.

Colin has also excelled as a performer. He is a member of Servire, a professional choral ensemble and service organization consisting of twelve singers from the southeast United States. Specializing in unaccompanied choral selections from the Renaissance era to the modern day, Servire's mission is to give back to the community through their music, education, and charitable endeavors. Colin's involvement in Servire allows him to showcase his vocal talents while contributing to the ensemble's mission of making a difference through music.
