Biography

Caroline Spaeth

Lauded for her impressive extension and “wonderfully sweet tone” (Operawire), soprano Caroline Spaeth (she/her/hers) possesses an ease with dramatic singing and exciting vocal pyrotechnics. This season, she appeared as Elisabetta in Donizetti’s Roberto Devereux and Isabelle in Meyerbeer’s Robert le diable at St. John in the Village Church in NYC. An advocate of contemporary classical works, she began 2022 performing Ligeti’s Mysteries of the Macabre in concert at Providence College and AS220. She later appeared as Jenny in Ned Rorem’s Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters at the Contemporary Theatre Company in Wakefield, RI and premiered the role of Patience in Jarrar/Goodwin’s Patience and Pearl in New York City. Other appearances include soprano soloist in The Messiah with the Assabet Valley Mastersingers and soprano soloist in Carmina Burana with the Paul Madore Chorale.
