Alexia Della Valle, soprano, is currently pursuing her MM in Voice Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a native of Orlando, FL, where she graduated with her BA in Music in 2019 from Rollins College. She has recently performed the roles of Gretel (Hansel and Gretel) and Lucy (The Telephone) at UNCG, Sister Genevieve (Varna International Music Academy's Suor Angelica), and in the ensembles of Greensboro Opera's La bohème and UNCG's The Bartered Bride. She enjoys musical theatre and has also performed roles in Into the Woods, Once Upon a Mattress, Gershwin's Crazy for You, and the Rodgers and Hammerstein revue Some Enchanted Evening. While at Rollins College, she performed often with the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park. Her concert credits include Rossini's Stabat Mater, Rutter's Requiem, Mozart's Coronation Mass, Richard Einhorn's Voices of Light, and Orff's Carmina Burana.
Alexia teaches private voice and piano lessons to students of all ages, which she has loved doing for over three years.
