Clarence Hogan AKA “SONNY” has been making people laugh his entire life. He’s just naturally funny! Being the only male sandwiched between two demanding sisters has enhanced Sonny's comedic abilities; it was either laugh or cry. As a teacher/instructor in the urban community he has gained priceless experiences that are incorporated into his material. His experiences have culminated to create a comedic entertainer extraordinaire! Instead of just seeing humor as a hobby, Sonny has fine tuned his comedic gift into a science by incorporating storytelling, games, improvisation, standup as well as video and computer technology into his routine. Sonny uses his comedy and wit to motivate students of all ages from High School Career Days, College Retreats to programs for Seniors Citizens. Sonny has performed as a Stand-Up Comedian several different type of events including; Family Reunions, Birthday Parties, Wedding Anniversaries, Festivals, Wedding Receptions, Holiday Events. He also has hosted Comedy Shows, Poetry Events, Church Anniversaries, Conferences, Retreats and Youth Events. Sonny has produced a monthly series of Comedy Showcases, Storytelling Events and Fundraisers. As a Storyteller Sonny has been involved in several Storytelling Events including; Do Not Submit, Is This A Thing, The Moth Slam and The Moth GrandSLAM.
