Originally from Peoria, Illinois, Emma is a Southern California based Mezzo-Soprano. Emma's past operatic roles include Miss Jessel (Turn of the Screw), The Gingerbread Witch (Hansel und Gretel), Mrs. Jones (Street Scene), and Zita (Gianni Schicchi), as well as solos in many scene programs. Emma had the privilege of studying as a studio artist with Angels Vocal Art, the International Performing Arts Institute, and the Vienna Summer Music Festival.
She had the honor of performing as a soloist multiple times with Point Loma Choral Union's renowned production of the Messiah and Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb. Other concert work includes solos in Point Loma Nazarene Orchestra's Concerto Concert in 2019 and 2020. Emma is an in-demand chorister performing professionally with the Long Beach Camerata Singers and Pacific Chorale. She has toured with PLNU and UCI premier choral ensembles and has sung with many churches in the Southern California area.
Emma earned her M.F.A from the University of California Irvine under the instruction of Dr. Darryl Taylor. In 2020 she graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance under vocal teacher Amy Mein.
