Eric Barry

Tenor Eric Barry continues to impress audiences on both the operatic and concert stage “with a clear timbre, evenness of projection, and exceptional sensitivity.” Upcoming engagements include the comedic Alfred in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus with Amarillo Opera, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis with Chamber Music Amarillo, Dvorak’s Requiem with Madison Symphony Orchestra, and Handel’s Messiah with Memphis Symphony. Mr. Barry’s recent credits include Alfredo in Traviata with Opera Colorado and Amarillo Opera, Macduff in Verdi’s Macbeth with Opera San Antonio, and Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore with Boston Midsummer Opera. Mr. Barry has made a name for himself as the tenor soloist in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, having performed the work with Indianapolis Symphony, Madison Symphony Orchestra, Utah Symphony, Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Barry has a Masters of Music and an Artist Diploma from Yale University.
