Hudson Maness is a violist from Colorado. In addition to subbing with the Evansville, Richmond, Terre Haute, and Owensboro orchestras in Indiana and Kentucky, Hudson has performed in festivals domestic and abroad. Having attended the Trentino Music Festival in Italy, BU Tanglewood Institute in Massachusetts, and Montecito Music Festival in California, this summer he visited Houston as principal violist of the Texas Music Festival Orchestra Institute. He will pursue his master’s degree with acclaimed violist André Roy at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music. This past spring Hudson completed his bachelor’s degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music under Stephen Wyrczynski. Outside of music, he loves coffee, chess, reading, and writing.
