Biography

Kacie Brown

Kacie Brown is a musician, content producer, and educator originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She currently serves as digital content manager for Interlochen Center for the Arts' Interlochen Public Radio, with a special focus on classical programming. She also leads an active performance career, often performing with ensembles such as the Traverse Symphony Orchestra, SaxoBang Ensemble, and Encore Winds. In 2019, Kacie won the inaugural Elise Hall Competition for Emerging Saxophonists. Kacie holds bachelor and master of music degrees from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and a journalism certificate from IU’s media school.
