Originally from Colorado, Madelyn (Maddy) Allen is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and arts marketer. Currently, she attends Indiana University earning a BFA in Dance (Indiana University Contemporary Dance Program) and a BA in Arts Marketing (Individualized Major Program). She is expected to graduate in May 2022. Before attending university, she attended Denver School of the Arts as well as trained with Complexions Contemporary Ballet, the Orlando Ballet, and the Nutmeg Conservatory. Furthermore, she was a touring assistant for Fluid Dance Convention for their 2016-2017 season. While a student at Indiana University, she has produced/choreographed dance films, worked multiple marketing-based internships, digital marketing projects, as well as performed in works by Juel D. Lane, Erik Abbott Main, and Azuki Umeda. Along with 19 years of dance training, Maddy has experience in social media management/creation, branding, designing marketing collateral for individual artists and arts organizations/companies.
