Nicole Zwier, soprano, is a graduate from the Wilfrid Laurier University Bachelor of Music, Vocal Performance and Opera Diploma programs. During her time there, she performed as Mrs. Jenks in The Tender Land by Aaron Copland, Noémie in Cendrillon by Jules Massenet and Kate, in the world premiere of The Llandovery Castle by Stephanie Martin, as well as various roles in the WLU Excerpt shows. She spent time studying in France at the Lyon International Summer Music Academy where she studied with Kimberly Barber and Catherine Garonne. She has also attended the Druid City Opera Workshop at University of Alabama and studied with pianist Amanda Johnston and director Dawn Neely. Most recently she has performed in the chorus for the Dorset Opera Festival in their productions of Massenet's Le roi de Lahore and Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro. She is now based in the United Kingdom where she is studying privately and living with her husband in the Norfolk county.
