Stephan JoQuan Wilson is a proud product of Flint, MI and began performing locally at a young age. Singing in his church choir and taking classes at the Flint Youth Theatre, now known as the Flint Repertory Theatre, encouraged him to study musical theatre performance in college. During his time in college Stephan placed first in his NATS region twice, top three in the inaugural Hall Johnson spiritual category, and was a finalist in the national musical theatre competition in 2018. He graduated in 2019 with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Central Michigan University, Fire Up Chips! Post graduation he was a season 42 resident actor at Charleston Stage theatre company in Charleston, SC. He is now an Atlanta based performer, and his regional credits include: Ziggy in Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds (Synchronicity Theatre), Adam in The Color Purple and Luke in Anything Goes (City Springs Theatre Company), Frog in A Year with Frog and Toad (Cardinal Stage), Sky Square in Polkadots: the Cool Kids Musical and Lamar in Godspell (Festival 56). He would like to thank his mentors, friends, and family for their love and support as he continues to follow his dreams.
