Tyler Barton is a seasoned performer who began his singing career as an ensemble member and featured supporting actor in several musical theatre productions. He has performed as a member of choral ensembles ranging from large ensembles to chamber ensembles on advanced and specialist repertoire as well as choral masterworks. He was the tenor section leader and tenor soloist for St. Mary's Episcopal Church's Chancel Choir (2016-2018) and for New Hope United Methodist Church (2022). While at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Mr. Barton represented UCO in honor choirs with the Oklahoma Choral Director's Association, the Southwest American Choral Director's Association, in a performance tour of Italian cities, and at the University of Northern Colorado's Greeley Jazz Festival in Greeley, Colorado. Additionally, Mr. Barton has performed as a featured soloist with the University of Central Oklahoma's Concert Chorale and the UCO Chamber Swingers vocal jazz ensemble. He studied voice with Dr. Molly Johnson, vocal pedagogy with Dr. Barbara DeMaio, conducting with Dr. Karl Nelson, and vocal music education methods with Dr. Darla Eshelman. He has served as an intern conductor for the Central Oklahoma Symphonic Youth Choir and the Edmond Youth Chorus.
