Jakobstads Sinfonietta

The Jakobstad/Pietarsaari Sinfonietta is an educational orchestra for students at the music programs in Campus Allegro. The students at Wava-institutet, YA! Vocational College of Ostrobothnia and Novia University of Applied Sciences gain most of their orchestral, band and ensemble practice through the Sinfonietta’s activities. The Jakobstad/Pietarsaari Sinfonietta offers the students an opportunity to play with experienced and professional musicians in varying compositions. The Sinfonietta is a flexible unit that, through its activities, strives towards being a central part of the cultural everyday life in Ostrobothnia.
