My name is Alice Lind, and I am a multi-talented artist and businesswoman with a mission to use my voice, wit, and humor to inspire others and create impactful experiences.
Alice Lind, mezzo-soprano, is a multi-talented artist with a mission to use her voice, wit, and humor to inspire others and create impactful experiences. She currently studies voice under the tutelage of Michelle DeYoung. Alice is a recent graduate of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she earned her Master of Music in Vocal Performance. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Drake University. While there, she served as Assistant Stage Director and singer with Drake Opera Theatre, performing Die Zauberflöte (Third Lady), The Old Maid and the Thief (Miss Todd, cover), and Le Nozze di Figaro (Marcellina, cover). With Jacobs Opera and Ballet Theater, performance credits include Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett), Candide (Old Lady), Falstaff (Dame Quickly), and the opera choruses of Ainadamar and La Rondine. Alice has also performed Suor Angelica (La Badessa; Zia Principessa, cover) and Le Nozze di Figaro (Cherubino) with the International Lyric Academy in Italy. Scene performance credits include La Clemenza di Tito (Annio) with Jacobs Graduate Opera Workshop under the direction of Heidi Grant Murphy, Alcina (Bradamante), Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira), and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Sibella). Alice spent the summer as a singer with Opera Quad Cities, where she performed in their mainstage production of Die Fledermaus (Prince Orlofsky).
