Lily Smith is a 26-year-old French-American soprano. Born in Paris, France, she later moved to the United States and currently resides in Boston, MA. Since finishing her Master’s of Music at USC Thornton School of Music, Smith has taken on a great variety of roles in both the contemporary and the standard repertoire. She performed her first title role as Svetlana in the world premiere of All The Truths We Cannot See, in Helsinki, Finland. Other roles include Laetitia in the Old Maid and the Thief, Cendrillon in Massenet's Cendrillon, Madam Mathilde in On Gold Mountain, and more.
Lily also created her own yearly recital series in various parts of the world. Last year the performances took place in Los Angeles (CA), Durham (NC), and Paris (France). In 2025, Lily plans on expanding the series to Boston (MA), Dakar (Senegal) and Charlottesville (VA).
